ADVERTISING CONTEST!
I'm sure most of you already know how this works, but since we are newly opened (or re-opened as the case may be) we need to get some members in here so it's not so lonely! And that means adverts, lots and lots of adverts! The purpose is to entice new people to join however, not flood everyone with news of our existence, so some ground rules in place. First off, make sure to check the advertising rule on other sites, some people allow multiple adds, others do not! If they don't, make sure to read at least the first page of any advertisement boards to make sure someone else hasn't tagged us there already before you go pasting in an add, we don't want to be causing trouble! Also don't post on explicit sites! If it's mature and has an age blocker thats probably fine, but if it's a site centered around sexual or graphic content then avoid posting there, the last thing we want is to be in trouble for that!
You can find out add here in the second post, just make sure the copy the one appropriate to where you are advertising and paste it in! Feel free to add a little personal note or testimonial if there is something you like about SD and why people should join, though it isn't necessary it's nice to see member statements and can inspire a lot more then an admin just running around copy pasting everywhere! The title can be as simple as SKYDROP! or can read more complex if you want to, just make sure it makes sense and applies to the site! And you can post it under your name or as a SKYDROP! member or Fallers of SKYDROP!
Reply to this thread once and keep the post updated with links to your adds as you make them! Make sure to code it like such to keep it organized and so everyone can tell what site it is from, with the links leading to your ad on that site:
1. SKYDROP!
2. SITE NAME
3. SITE NAME
and not like this:

If you aren't sure how to do that, there button for making a link should allow you to name your links, but it should look a little something like this in the BBC code view of your post as an example:
[a href="http://skydrop.boards.net/"]SKYDROP![/a]I think that should cover it! Prize for 1st place is one of any furniture piece or a mystery egg, and for every 10 ads you will also gain a favor!
